Gilmore Girls ended in May, 2007. Now Gilmore Girls is reportedly coming back, with new episodes, to Netflix. New episodes. Gilmore Girls. Netflix.

According to TV Line, Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino will be back to helm the revival, which will take place over four 90-minute episodes. TV Line also reports many of the main players—Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, and Scott Patterson and his baseball cap, luckily, included—will be back to reprise their roles. “What about Dean?” you’re wondering, as a joke. Good joke.

Neither of the Palladinos took part in creating the show’s terrible final season, which left many fans hoping for something exactly like this—a way for the show’s original creative team to lay the Girls in their graves and place the coins over their eyes in exactly the manner they originally intended. This hope was typically aimed at a movie. But now look: Netflix.

Finally, we will find out Amy Sherman-Palladino’s fabled four final words. Finally, we will find out if Rory works at Slugline, or maybe she works at Gawker. Finally, we—our stomachs full, our appetites long-satisfied—will gorge on more Gilmore Girls, barely tasting it, for that is what we believe we deserve and, more importantly, it’s what we believe we want.

Gilmore Girls. On Netflix.

OK.
